From Raw Idea to Successful Pre-seed Pitch

The Challenge

When the SorenHQ team first approached me, all they had was a raw concept and a simple description:

“We’re building a workflow builder for security tasks.”

No brand identity, no visuals, no clear messaging

just an idea. My task wasn’t merely to build a website;
it was to bring their vision to life and communicate their value clearly, convincingly, and visually.

Starting with the Right Questions

In our first session, I went deep to truly understand their vision and market:

  • Who were their main competitors?
  • Who exactly were their target users?
  • What values and messages needed to resonate with their users?
  • What tone and language did their customers respond to?

I turned these insights into a comprehensive creative brief for their two co founders and three board members.

Building the Brand Identity

Immediately after collecting the initial insights, I started crafting their brand from scratch:

  • Logo: Bold and dynamic, representing trust, security, and innovation.
  • Color Palette: Fresh, innovative, bold colors to signify confidence, innovation, and boldness.
  • Tone of Voice: Clear, direct, and professional—perfectly suited to security professionals.

This was the first time the SorenHQ team could tangibly feel their brand.

The Process

The website had to embody their brand identity and clearly convey the product’s true value. Here’s how we made that happen:

1. Understanding the Product & Users Deeply

I joined their daily team meetings and spent hours observing, asking questions, and understanding their workflow, values, and communication style.

“Soren isn’t here to create more dashboards;
it’s built to eliminate repetitive manual work performed by junior security analysts.”

This powerful insight became the foundation of our content and web design strategy.

2. Wireframing & Initial Content Creation

I mapped out the site architecture clearly and produced the initial website copy to align closely with their core message.

3. Facing Our First Big Obstacle: “We Have No Demos!”

The team initially told me: "We don’t have a product demo—our MVP isn't built yet."
But plain text alone would never capture the imagination of customers or investors.

I immediately designed dynamic, interactive product animations:

  • Attack Flow Reconstruction: An animation demonstrating precisely how Soren reconstructs an API attack chain in real-time.
  • Integration Animations: Visually appealing atomic particle-style animations illustrating how seamlessly Soren integrates with existing security tools.

When the team first saw these animations in the website’s Hero Section, they were thrilled—they were finally seeing their vision come alive.

4. Mobile-First, Optimized UX/UI Design

I built a visually striking, mobile-first homepage, enhanced with interactive feature animations. Each animation clearly demonstrated specific product values.

5. Dynamic Company, Integration, and Solutions Pages

  • About & Careers Pages: Interactive sliders and Webflow CMS integration for dynamic content updates.
  • Careers Page: Individual CMS-driven pages for each job position, providing scalability.
  • Integration Page: Animated and CMS-driven components enabling effortless future updates.
  • Solutions Pages: Designed an adaptable component-based design system to allow the SorenHQ team to easily adjust content and layouts on their own.

6. Seamless Demo Request Workflow

I created an automated workflow for demo requests, directly integrating with their internal tools to capture leads seamlessly.

The Outcome

A Winning Pitch for Investors & Early Customers !

The SorenHQ team used the animations and SorenHQ.webflow.io prototype to successfully pitch their vision to initial customers and pre-seed investors. These visuals clearly communicated Soren’s value, even before a single line of code was written.

“Without these animations and branding efforts, no one would truly grasp what our product could do.
Now, everyone clearly understands the value we’re delivering.”

– Mohsen, CEO at SorenHQ

Ultimately, these visuals helped SorenHQ secure interest from investors, significantly accelerating their move from pre seed towards seed funding.

Takeaways

Sometimes, the most impactful design is one that visually narrates the true value of an idea. The interactive animations and user-focused branding work I did for SorenHQ enabled them to:

  • Win investor trust quickly.
  • Clearly communicate their product value to early adopters.
  • Provide their founding team a clear, visual sense of pride and direction.

Summary of My Deliverables:

  • Complete branding from scratch.
  • UX/UI and content strategy tailored to product and audience.
  • Dynamic, compelling product animation visuals.
  • A scalable, dynamic CMS-driven Webflow website.
  • Successfully supported their pre-seed fundraising journey.
