0xArena is a Web3 gaming platform built around the core idea: "Play · Earn · Cash Out". It allows players to participate in weekly tournaments and earn real, withdrawable rewards through two native tokens: P2E (Play-to-Earn) and S2E (Stake-to-Earn). I was responsible for the complete rebranding, UI/UX design, and full development of the marketing website using Webflow.

The Challenge

Before this project began, 0xArena struggled with an outdated identity and a confusing user experience that failed to capture the interest of gamers — especially those who weren’t already familiar with the world of Web3. The core challenge was to communicate the platform’s value to two very different audiences:

  • Gamers who just wanted to play and earn, but didn’t necessarily understand (or care about) blockchain.
  • Web3 investors who needed to see serious potential, technical clarity, and a solid token model.

Our goal was to create a website that could inspire trust, deliver clarity, and look genuinely fun to interact with all while remaining consistent with Web3 aesthetics and expectations.

The Process

Brand assets

We began by conducting user research to better understand the motivations and frustrations of our two main audiences. With that clarity, I led the rebranding process: from redesigning the logo and color system to crafting a visual identity for the tokens themselves.

Motion for better understanding

During creative brainstorming sessions, our team came up with a central metaphor: a digital factory.
We decided to visually represent the user journey as coins traveling through a dynamic, animated ecosystem getting generated, passed through tournaments, and ultimately turned into real rewards. This metaphor became the heart of the entire visual system.

Website and webflow

I handled all website design and development inside Webflow, creating an interactive and fully responsive experience. Animations and micro-interactions were used extensively to guide users and keep them engaged. The CMS was built to power dynamic content like news, tournaments, and token updates. For more advanced functionality, I implemented custom JavaScript to connect the frontend with the backend APIs, including wallet integration and tournament data syncing.

The Results

User testing sessions revealed overwhelmingly positive reactions. Users said the site felt “light, fun, and intuitive”, exactly what we were aiming for. In the first launch phase, we saw:

  • A 40% increase in player sign-ups compared to the old site
  • A 50% increase in page views on token-related content
  • Over 30% more wallet connections during tournament launches
  • An impressive 92% satisfaction rate in post-launch feedback surveys

The entire website has now been fully designed, developed, and integrated — from responsive layouts and custom animations to CMS and backend wallet/tournament systems. While the platform is technically complete and ready, the team has decided to align the site’s public launch with the final phase of their rebranding rollout in the coming weeks.

Even ahead of launch, internal performance tests and user trials already show a major lift in engagement and clarity, strong signs that the full release will land with real impact.

Client Testimonial

“0xArena’s new design feels like watching a digital factory that turns fun into money. Clear, engaging, and totally on-brand — the whole team loved it.”

Conclusion

This project was a full-stack branding and product storytelling exercise. By combining thoughtful UX, brand narrative, and Webflow’s flexibility, we created a website that not only explained how 0xArena works — but made users excited to play and earn. It’s a great example of how powerful design can bridge the gap between complex Web3 systems and everyday players.
